Hi, first time user on this channel, any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I recently upgraded to WooCommerce v2.6.7 and SparkPost v2.50.

If I reset a customer’s password in the admin back-end, then the email would be delivered to the customer inbox.

If I rest it from the front-end via “Lost your password?”, then the email would NOT be delivered to the customer inbox.

FYI, to troubleshoot, I installed the “Email Log” plugin to see if WordPress is actually logging any email activities, and it is, it logged both emails above, but the customer would not receive the email if the reset is done in the front-end.

When I send a test email from the SparkPost plugin, it will deliver successfully, and I can see it logged in the SparkPost dashboard.

There are only 3 plugins currently activated: WooCommerce, SparkPost, Email Log.

I even deleted SparkPost v2.5, then re-installed v2.4.1. Still same issue.

@wmnk Coincidentally, we’ve stumbled into this same issue today. The fix is very easy.

In the settings page of woocommerce, check the Emails tab. There is a section called Email Sender Options. The field “From” Address probably has a wrong email address. Just put a an email address with correct email domain. Like if you’ve registered xyz.com with sparkpost, make sure you put [email protected] there. After save it should be fine.
