• We have been using contact form 7 since a while now, till now it has been working fine, however, since last couple of days we are facing severe problems. We are not receiving submissions from our contact form, whether it is email submission or a file submission from the website.

Though after the submission we do receive a message that the information/file is being submitted to the user, but there is not receipt of that submission to the email ID associated.

This is really urgent, please let us know how we can deal with this. Thanks.

  • I am a new user and can not say it has ever worked for me, but have the same basic issue. My contact form says the email was sent, but no email is received. I’ve followed the advice in other threads and tried a few SMTP plugins. They all send test a mails just fine. Indeed, everything that does things with mail is working fine except Contact 7.

Upon further review, I have to own a “missed it” on this one. The mails in question where not in the typical junk folder where everything else goes. For some reason, they were being placed in a completely different junk folder that has never had anything in it previously. The one additional factor in me not noticing that was that the delivery is somewhat delayed (has been as long as 30 minutes) – I’m not sure what’s up with that since nothing else on the site has been noted as having that issue.

I too have this issue with two other clients. The big issue is that is was a working configuration about 5 days ago and then both setups stopped working. Now there are no emails received. I installed a Contact 7 Submissions plugin which stores the message in the WordPress.

One client is set up as the To: is to a local domain email, and two other addresses in the Bcc: Occasionally one of the gmails in the Bcc gets the email but not 100% of the time.

Second client has two emails in the To: Neither address receives the emails.

Both of these configurations were working a few days ago. No apparent upgrades were made. I am suspecting a plugin conflict. Both sites are using common latest plugins:

    Slider Revolution
    Yoast SEO
    Google Analytics

    Wordpress 4.6.1
