Not receiving supplied User Info

    I noticed I was not that receiving User Name, Email, Browser etc. in received emails.

    So tested User Feedback myself as non-logged used supplying all info and got only following info in email. 

    Name: A
Email: (not provided)
Browser: A (A)
Cookies enabled: Yes
Visited URL: https://example.com/page-visited/
Site Language: en-US
User Languages:
Additional Notes:

    Thanks a lot for your feedback. That sounds bad!

    We will look into that as quickly as possible. There’s lots of new stuff coming soon anyway, but we better fix that bug first.

    Just so we have more information, what browser were you testing this with? It’s a bit ironic that this is missing from the email you received ??

    Original browser was Chrome. Tested & got same response on Firefox.

    I get the exact same email data. Really need to know who sent the email! lol

    @zfiske: Thanks for letting us know!

    We made some good progress recently on our completely overhauled new version, which will be released ahead of WordPress 4.6. In it, this bug is already solved. We only need to do some final tweaks and testings now.

    I have the same problem in Google Chrome. Do you have a release date yet? What else is new in that version?

    @liekenetherlands: I’m currently super busy with other stuff, but perhaps I find some time this week for the new release. Definitely planned to release it around the WordPress 4.6 release date.

    Version 2.0 is a huge rewrite of the plugin in order to make the process more streamlined. Plus, this will allow us to improve the UX on mobile.

    Quick status update: we’re getting there!

    There aren’t many open issues left. Let me know if you want early beta access to the new version.

    Better late than never: we just uploaded 2.0.0-beta to www.ads-software.com so you can download it from https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/plugin/user-feedback.zip and give it a spin on your site. Beware of the few remaining bugs ?? That’s why we need testing.
