    Hello there,

Message “Thank you for your message. It has been sent.”
    but
    mailbox (yahoo) empty

I installed a plugin to log submissions of cf7, and I can see the records of submissions inside wp and furthermore, I can see that the messages have been pushed forward to my email address, with no error.
    but
    mailbox (yahoo) empty or
    mailbox (gmail) empty
    Whereas

I input my email address of my domain ([email protected]), finally I received the submitted message.

SO, what do you think about? Is it changed anything from organizations like yahoo and gmail, because I remember once it worked.

    Thank you for your help
    Manolis

    Finally,

    I found myself a solution…!

Firstly, yahoo, gmail etc do not receive emails from non existed email addresses anymore.
Therefore you need to input in the field “FROM” in the settings tab of CF7 a real email address, from the smtp server you use,for example
    ’email: <[email protected]>’
Second, they don’t receive emails without using an email transfer protocol. So use a plugin for SMTP use. Leave blank the field “From” of smtp plugin. Choose smtp for php mail or if you have credentials choose to connect with your smtp server, which your host provider will provide for you.

    Good luck
