Not recieving Emails

I have setup the plugin, the API keys, and added customers to the test mode in stripe. When I enter an email address it seems to works and displays this message “The link has been sent to (emailaddress) Don’t forget to check your SPAM folder.”
I have tried several times with different test email addresses and made sure to check the spam folders but I never receive the email. I am interested in upgrading to the pro version if I can get this to work. Any help would be appreciated.
