• Hello,

We’ve been using your plugin for awhile, thank you!

Our theme has an “announcements” custom post type for broadcasting small store updates in the site header. The AddThis plugin isn’t recognizing this in the settings, so it adds the social sharing at the bottom of each announcement. Thus there’s sharing tools in our header interfering with navigation.

Any tips how to troubleshoot this? How should we proceed?

    Thank you.

    Hi there,

If you send us the URL of your site, we can assist with providing CSS to make sure the buttons don’t appear within each announcement. If you’d rather email us the link privately, you can email us at [email protected].

    Thanks,
    Matt

    Matt,

    Thanks for the prompt reply.

Are you just going to use display: none? Does the plugin settings do this, or does it actually remove the code?

We’re already having speed issues, so I prefer to eliminate rather than hide it.

The site is live, so I had to disable your plugin or else sales couldn’t be processed. I do, however, have an old cloned site we can use to troubleshoot. I just recreated the problem: https://shilotemp.com/shop/dance-performance-hula-hoop-ultra-flex/

And new info. It’s only happening on WooCommerce product pages. I could not reproduce this issue on another page.

    Thank you!

The buttons on the page you provided are from AddToAny, not AddThis.
