I am using WPForms and it is not redirecting to the post, entered as “Redirect when all triggers are completed”, on mobile (iPhone). No actions live before it, but when it is live there will be actions that take place before it is triggered.

    Any help would be appreciated,

    Jerry J.

    Hi Jerry,

Sorry to hear about the issue.

Form redirects with Automator are tricky, both because form plugins tend to have redirect behaviours that would override ours and because they’re often submitted via AJAX, which wouldn’t work for a redirect (see the troubleshooting section at the bottom of https://automatorplugin.com/knowledge-base/working-with-redirects/).

Could we ask why you’re not able to use the redirect in WPForms? That approach would be preferred, but maybe you could tell us more about why you’re using a recipe and why there aren’t any actions?

    Thanks!

Sorry I mistyped, I am using Uncanny Automator for the redirect because I am creating a Post as an action when the form is submitted. That is why I am not using the WPForms redirect.

Thank you for your reply. Your information was helpful. I fixed the issue by disabling the AJAX form submission in WPForms. For anyone else you disable it in WPForms by going to edit your form, then navigating to Settings > General. Scroll to Advanced section and turn off “Enable AJAX form submission”.
