not replaced without error message

  • I am using WP 4.8.5 and isntalled the “Enable MEdia Replace” plugin. No errors while installation. The Methidathek now offers me the “replace file” button.
    I do replace the file (keeping the original name “Vita-Julia.pdf”).
    The plugin tells me that the replacement with success.

    But the file is alwas the old version. I checked not only the download link on my website. I also check the direct url on my mediathek. There is no replacement done.

  • Did you delete your browser cache? Maybe it is just a browser issue. You can try to use a different file name, this should work because there is no such file in your browser cache.

    If this does not solve the issue please write which hoster you are using, maybe it it is using a server side caching.
