Not Replacing the Image in Media Library List

  • Hi Team,

    While using the Just Replace the file option the replaced file does not shows in the Media Library List. But when click into the replace media link again, it shows the updated file. Can you please guide me on this.

    NOTE: But it works fine if I select Replace the file, use the new file name, and update all links option.

    And also, if you can please guide on any hook that can be used to call an event after completion of replacing the media.

    Hi Gerard,

    Thanks for your response, but I have already seen this article and tried the solution suggested. But it didn’t work. For your information we are using the WP Offload Media plugin, for storing the image in AWS S3 Buckets.

    Apart from that, I would request you guide me to the hook called on completion of replacement. So we can call some other method on it.

    In order to help you troubleshoot this, it would be helpful if you could provide us with some additional information, including:

    • Screenshots?or a?screen recording?that show the issue in action.
    • One or more links of examples of images that are supposed to be replaced but they aren’t.
    • Your site information. Please?navigate to?Tools?>?Site Health?>?Info,?click on the?“Copy site info to clipboard”?button and paste the information in your reply.
    • Finally, does the issue occurring in more than one web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari, etc.)?
