not required field showing as required

    Hi there,

    I cancelled (required) next to phone number but it still comes up as an error when trying to submit a form.

    Am i doing something wrong?

    i had a look at the link you have provided but i don’t seem to find the relevant information.

    where does it explain how to make a required field not required?

    I am seeing this too on a site moved form an old host to a host using PHP 7.1. (not sure the version is the issue but thought I would through it in). Fields that do NOT have a * in the control are erring as being required…
    On reflection I also updated to the latest version bug maybe?
