• I love the look. The only thing I miss in the free theme is working with columns to make the pages fully responsive (i’ve done my own hack on the frontpage so it works there). Having the theme fully responsive with columns would have given it 5 stars.

Buttons, tabs, callout, galleries and image boxes yeah you name it are add-ons I expect to pay for. So They should be in the Pro version. I just want the basics to work.

I had the menu crash with a loved plugin that I now have to replace so that also contribute to the missing star, as I’ve been working with that plugin for many years without problem and as of now don’t know what to replace it with.

  • Did you try contacting the plugin’s author(s) about this via their support forum: https://www.ads-software.com/support/theme/opportune

The comment is up there too. Yes ??

But as long as the theme has this problem I can’t give it a better review.
This is not something I want to find out after spending ours setting up a theme.

I will revise if it gets fixed. For now I think anyone thinking of the theme should know this.

It is now, yes but only after I made the above suggestion. Generally speaking, it’s better to start by posting in the relevant support forum first – rather than a review – and at least giving the author(s) the opportunity to examine and rectify any issues rather than the other way around.

I can definitely understand frustration, but usually it’s best to contact support first before doing a review…which I am more than happy to help with any support requests.

I just followed up with your support request. I’m thinking there might be s script conflict between the menu of the theme and a plugin. Either way, it will need fixing.

If we manage to solve this, hopefully an edit of the review and rating would be considered ??

esmi I was typing as you were typing the “suggestion” I was doing both and the order didn’t matter to me.

I think the review is for how it works for me. That’s what is important at that moment. Reviews can always be changed once problems are solved.

Shaped Pixels It’s half solved ??
The menu is working but one of my plugins needs to be replaced.
I’ve edited the review but still can’t give you 5 stars. Even though you got me one of the fastest responses ever!! The moderator here made me testy slapping my fingers for not doing things in what she consider the right order. But I did do my first review from my first impression.

I’ve been specific with what takes it down to four stars.
I hope you understand and agree with my thoughts. It’s a great looking theme. it’s not nearly as advanced as those I usually work with. Not even the Pro version. (Take a look at my “work site” and you’ll clearly see why I fell for your theme in the first place https://www.maxibit.com/ . I like clean and simple!)

    Keep up the good work!

    No worries.

What is important is that everything pretty much got worked out. I did follow up to your support posting about responsive columns. The theme actually has that ability but I did not present that very well with my setup tutorials (something I will need to add).

I also want to say thank you for re-evaluating your review and rating ??
