Not rotating

Can you please add the testimonials to a sidebar other than the home page?

I think there’s JavaScript conflicts, but I can’t get anything definite.

Is it possible to disable the nivo slider to see if the testimonials rotate then?

I’m thinking it’s a JavaScript conflict despite no errors for such are coming up.

First, your jquery include is out of date. Try getting up to 1.8 from 1.6.

Second, the JavaScript in your webpage at line 471 has the error “Uncaught TypeError: Object [object Object] has no method ‘modal'”. When I remove the code, the testimonials work.

You get that JavaScript jQuery working, then you should be fine.

Lastly, there’s a similar error, “Uncaught TypeError: Object [object Object] has no method ‘on'” from bootstrap.min.js line 6.

I searched my site and i can only find one jquery.js on my site https://www.bluewaterwelding.net located in wp-includes\js\jquery\ and it is version 1.8.3.

Can you point me in the direction of how i can see the error you are seeing. I know how to use Firebug but i don’t know how to see Javascript.

Also, disabling Nivo had no effect but thanks for the idea. I actually also disabled all other Plugins, no change.

For debugging, check out the Console for the JavaScript and other errors that might come up on a page.

Since you already deactivated plugins to no avail, then your theme might be causing the conflict. Can you change to 2012 or the like and see if testimonials work?

I found that it is the “download manager” plugin that cause the testimonial plugin not working.

May i know what should i do?

What kind of downloads are you dealing with?

Is it possible to use another?

More than likely, that JavaScript for jQuery is hard coded in the download manager plugin and therefore not something I can fix for you via Testimonials Widget.
