    Hello,
I created an online form that was working great. Today I added one additional field — the “select” field. After saving, my selections for Security > enable captch and Labels > “enable required field” and “enable required field indicators” are not being saved. They have all unchecked themselves.

In addition, all of my style code that had my label corners rounded spaced perfectly are completely off — like they’ve been wiped out!

    Here is the page

Also, all of the code I entered in the Fields (attributes) is now disabled. Mostly spacing. The form looks terrible.

Same here. One day all my contact forms are working. The next, after another admin added a field to the form, then the CAPTCHA stopped working and despite going to the Security Tab and clicking the CAPTCHA setting and saving it — it actually does not save the setting.

I did SO MUCH work figuring out how to make it perfect. All of it is gone. Now, nothing is saving for me — not style settings or CAPTCHA.

Hi, please read the following troubleshooting instructions.

They should help you with your problem

    Thank you

Thanks so much for that. Problem is that I have no idea where to find the php.ini file. Is there anything else I can read that will give me more detail? I really need to get this fixed.

    Thank you!

Hi KimPatt, you will need to speak to your Host to help you locate your php.ini file.

i had the exact same issue so i logged onto my godaddy account and went to the c-panel and scrolled down to php software and then changed my php version to 5.4 and from there I modified the max post size, memory size etc , message says it will take up to 24 hours for changes to be made so we will see, i also considered that the effected forms were copies imported using the tools tab feature and then i modified them, i might build a new form from scratch without copying from another form to see if that fixes if the problem persists after increasing memory and post size etc

interestingly my issue happened just after adding a select field also ..,, might be a clue

Thank you for that info Tommy — I’ll login to my godaddy and give that a try. I have a lot of radio buttons so I have no idea what could have triggered mine. I will say that I copied a smaller form and then built on to that and it was fine until I continued to add fields so I’m pretty sure it’s a size thing. Appreciate your jumping in here. I’ll let you know how I do and would love to know how it works for you.

    Update:

My php version was already at 5.4. I found the below instructions that I followed via FTP and it worked! My form settings are saving and it looks great again.
    ________________________

For Hosted server there is no php.ini file for individually. So create .user.ini file at root directory.

    1. Navigate to public_html (www) directory in your webhosting cpanle or using ftp like filezilla.

    2. Make a new file with file name .user.ini

    3. Write a piece of code into that file and save at root directory(www or public_html ).

    max_input_vars = required menu items size (2000 or 3000)

Hi @kimpatt that is great news.

Can you mark this support tread as resolved.

    Thank you

Somehow I don’t think this is my issue. My form only has 5 fields.

@jlgill can you start a new support thread.

    Thank you
