Hi, I am having issues with adding listings to the Site from the front end. When you fill out the form on the front end of the site, not all of the fields will save in the backend and therefore won’t be added to the listing page.

The problem is the ajax validation submit, not reading fields correctly, happens randomly, submit data empty and not saving nothing.

Especially when there is a field with many fields, checkboxes,… for example countries.

In the back end saving data working fine.

  • Hi @nativa1,

This is a known issue and we’ve already implemented a fix for it, it should be released with the next version of Directorist. Here’s the commit that fixes it, if you want to apply the fix right now: https://github.com/sovware/directorist/pull/694/commits/f49778f4a26a615999e775791a13dd01547eff43

Hope this helps, let me know if I can help you with anything else.

Maybe you have fixed the checkboxes problem, but the problem still exists when there are many different fields.

Send some empty data and don’t save it.

    Hi @nativa1,

Yes, we’re aware of some issues caused by having Checkboxes on the Add Listing Form. We’ve recently decided to restructure our Add Listing Form to address these issues. It is going to take some time but once done, we hope it’ll improve overall performance and resolve the current issues.

    Regards,
    Mahdi.
