Not Saving in WP 4.8.1

  • Debug is on – no error messages are shown
    All plug-ins deactive except List Custom Taxonomy Widget
    Twenty Sixteen Active Theme
    Widget Area – List Custom Taxonomy in Sidebar 4.1
    View the page and My List “List Custom Taxonomy” content shows up
    Refresh the page – and it is gone
    Return to Widgets and “List Custom Taxonomy” is no longer in the Sidebar
    Note: debug is set to true and NO errors have been shown.

    In the Customizing Widgets area
    Add “List Custom Taxonomy” to the sidebar
    I clicked Save & Publish
    ** When I try to leave the customizing Widgets area I get the pop-up box that changes may not be saved. I clicked the Save & published button multiple times, but the message continues to appear. When I leave and return the widget is not there.

    I have a test site if you would like to see this bug first-hand. I am hoping you can correct this issue.
