Not saving Post Meta entries

hi, the plugin works fine for me for the post content, but the post meta entries are not being saved. it says there’each combo must be saved by hitting Update’, but there’s no ‘Update’ button
‘Save changes’ (below the post text field) doesn’t seem to save the post meta and ‘Add custom field’ keep asking for a value, even though i had input one…
this would be a great plugin if it worked!
