Not saving when change to ‘append to main description’

    Hello,

    When I change the selection to append to main description it keeps defaulting back to display in separate tab.

    Can you please advise.

    Hi @kimski08,

    Unfortunately I am not able to reproduce this behavior. For me switching between “append to main description” and “display in separate tab” works without problems.

    Are you getting any error messages in the log file when saving?

    Sorry, which log file are you referring to?

    Hi @kimski08,

    Well, just the general PHP error log file. The location depends entirely on your system.

    • Is WP_DEBUG_LOG enabled? <br>Then it should also get logged into wp-content/debug.log
    • Are you running Apache HTTP Server? Then it should get logged somewhere in ../logs/error.log or ../logs/error_log (relative to httpdocs directory).
    • Are you running nginx Webserver? Then it might get logged somewhere in ../logs/php-fpm-errors.log (relative to httpdocs directory).

    Hi Mike, transferred your plugin to a clean staging site, and it works fine so it must be a plugin conflict. I’ll work out which one.

    That’s good news, at least for me ??

    Would be great if you could let me know about any findings.
    If it’s a popular plugin that causes the conflict, it might be worth considering adding a fix to the plugin permanently.
