Not seeing QR Code on E-mailed Tickets During Testing Purposes.

I am in the development phase of a website that is not ready to sell tickets and process payments yet.
I do wish to demonstrate the ticket sale process, particularly how the site owner can scan a QR Ticket.
What is the best settings for demonstrating this while accomplishing the two following things:
1.) Have the ticket immediately show as completed so that during a demo the correct emails are sent.
2.) Have the e-mailed ticket include the QR code for scanning.
CURRENTLY:
I have to go into the backend and change the ‘pending’ status of a ticket to ‘completed’. And when the Receipt that contains links to the tickets is received – the ticket contains a ‘ticket ID’ but there is no QR code.I simply want to create a start-to-finish demo of the process. How should I go about this? Thank you.
