Not seeing the marker.

    Not sure why, but I’m not seeing the marker.

    I believe I followed everything correctly, but when I place the shortcode on the website page .. or .. when I look at the preview window (to the right when I’m adding the information for the location) I do not see the marker.

    Everything else looks fine.

    Any thoughts as to what could be wrong and preventing the marker to show up.

    Notes:
    I’m using WP 4.0
    I’m using v6.0.27 of WP Google Maps
    I also have your Pro/Gold addons

    Apologies for the delay.
    In version 6.0.28 we now allow the use of internal shortcodes for directing the plugin to the correct directories and URL’s for the marker files.

    Please go to Maps->Settings (left menu in wp-admin) and have a look at the “MARKER XML DIR” and “MARKER XML URL” fields.

    Change them to the following

    Marker XML DIR
    {uploads_dir}/wp-google-maps/

    Marker XML URL
    {uploads_url}/wp-google-maps/
