Hey guys. I use your plugin on multiple websites.

I never get emails notifying that an email has not been sent, or if there is a problem with the connection. For example I had a “Bad Request(invalid_grant)” with my gmail and I didn’t know that the website wasn’t sending emails for a month.

In the notifications I have ticked Admin Email.

    Thanks

    Hi @davidwjw,

I hope you are doing well.

Thank you for contacting us regarding the issue you are facing. When your configured socket encounters an email sending failure, the Post SMTP plugin sends a notification email to the admin email address using the default socket. It’s possible that there are server-side restrictions such as closed ports, firewall rules, or specific instructions that prevent the admin email from being sent.

POST SMTP has recently launched its?Mobile application?to get instant email failure notifications, view all sent email history, and also enable you to resend emails from your smartphone.

You can give it a try, I hope this will help you!

    Thanks and regards,

Thanks for the detailed reply. When you say server-side restrictions, do you mean via my web server or email server (my admin email is from hotmail.co.nz) Thank you.
