Not sending confirmation mail

I think i have most things fixed, but i cannot get a confirmation mail being send. I enabled the option following this guide: https://wpmanageninja.com/docs/fluent-form/integrations-available-in-wp-fluent-form/mailpoet-integration-with-fluent-forms/

Does anyone know if i have to set up a confirmation mail in Fluent Forms? If so, what shortcode/link should i use for confirmation button (since this is always different per subscriber)

Or should it use the Mailpoet confirmation mail template which i did set up?

Btw, i can resend the confirmation mail (from within Mailpoet > subscribers) which works so the rest is working fine.
