Not Sending Email Notifications

    We moved our website from Network Solutions hosting to a different hosting provider. Ever since the move Simple Job Board will not send emails to anyone (HR, Admin, Applicant). It used to work when the website was at Network Solutions.

    WordPress sends email when a new user is added, Contact Form 7 sends emails when a form is filled out, WordFence sends weekly reports – I think the email system is working fine and SMTP is configured to work with WordPress.

    Can you please help me figure out why Simple Job Board will no longer send emails after moving the website to a new host?

    Hi

    First you need to make sure that you have not made any changes in plugin’s code.

    Second is you need to contact to your new hosting server for proper SMTP configurations.

    Because email sending process should work fine if above mentioned things are configured properly.

    I notified our hosting provider and this is what they said –

    You are on a shared hosting server with many different wordpress sites. If all your other plugins work to send mail that means that particular plugin may not support smtp authentication which is how secure mail is suppose to be sent. There is no setting on server which will cause one plugin to send mail and not the other. STMP authentication on proper ports is required.

    Hello

    Yes, SJB supports SMTP authentication.

    If you have not made any sort of customisation in SJB plugin then with SMTP configuration, it should work fine.

    kindly deactivate all plugin except SJB and then check it’s email sending functionality. It might be due to conflict among plugins.

    I am having same problem. I had this plugin active like 2 years ago and it did work at the time. I activated the plugin and it is NOT sending any emails to either HR or Admin. Can you help me out here. I have troubleshot and activated and deactivated plugins, and I installed another SJB plugin and same problem.

    Please try to send an email by using a different email ID. Let us either you receive the email or not.
