Not sending emails

  • Hi! I love the concept, only issue is I can’t actually get it working.

    Atm I’m on the free version as I only just got it today, but if I can get it working nicely I’ll probably upgrade to the premium version.

    I don’t think this is necessarily an issue with the plugin, but perhaps with my theme?

    I configured a few rules like in the youtube video and tested it out but no email was sent. I tried testing the email capability in the service tab and that worked fine.

    This may be an issue with the fact that the ‘posts’ I’m trying to notify authors about are actually property submissions to my realesate website, however these are configured in wordpress as posts and i’ve selected the ‘properties’ post category in the plugin.

    Any possible solutions?

    Thank you for your request. If the post type and/or category appear in PSN’s rule form, Then it should actually work. Of course there can be variations in behavior when this type of post is implemented and saved by a theme. Have you tried standard posts? Is this theme freely available so that I could test it?

    Hi Timo,

    Sorry for the late reply, I only just managed to get round to it.

    So I haven’t managed to get it working with a property submission. I did as you said and tested it with regular posts, and it does seem to work, so it must just be an issue with my theme.

    The theme is called ‘RealHomes’ but unfortunately it’s not free.

    Strangely enough it seems to be working!

    Just bought the premium plugin.
