Spamming mail client – can’t send messages

    I have correctly setup spf and dkim (via cloudflare) but get this response on test. Please can you help? Thanks.

See the technical details below for more information.The response from the remote server was:550 Please turn on SMTP Authentication in your mail client. mail-lj1-f179.google.com [209.85.208.179]:51272 is not permitted to relay through this server without authentication.

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    That message is sent by Google after an email is sent to a mailbox that doesn’t exist or isn’t active. I checked your email address in an email checker tool and got this error.

    As for the specific 550 error message, it means that you had not enabled SMTP authentication as mentioned here.

    You can reach out to your website host to resolve this issue.

    Please note that WP Mail SMTP aids in sending the email successfully, but if a mailbox does not exist or requires further set up, then that would need to be resolved on the end of the mailbox.
