Not setting first image as featured

    Enabled option : Activate to automatically use the first content image if available in the media library as featured image while saving a post

    The post have image but not getting saved as featured.

    Thank you for reaching out.
    I’ve checked this feature with WordPress 5.8.1 and it is working for me. Maybe a third party plugin blocks Quick Featured Images to add the featured image?
    Or do you use a page builder which does not follow the WordPress way to add the image?
    Please try to add just text and image with the WordPress classic editor or WordPress block editor (Gutenberg).
    If this won’t work, please disable all plugins and try it again.
