Not sharing when option set

    When i set “by default don’t share post” in settings and activate sharing in a post i want to share: on save (and plan for future) it is immediately set again to “don’t share this post” – and the post will not be shared on linkedin.

    so using the “by default don’t share” setting is not possible when planning posts.

    any tips for me here?

    Hi @schnorz,

    What you could do is just not activate a profile/page you want to share to by default, and then when you are ready to share, activate the pro on the plugin metabox on the post edit page, and then update/publish the page. And in the settings untick “By default don’t share”.

    Hi this doesn’t work. As soon as you disable the profile again it will be unscheduled for all posts.

    I didn’t mean deactivate on the main plugin settings, but on the post itself.

    Hi @schnorz,

    On the post edit page, where you add content and a featured image for your post etc. there’s a metabox on the page for our plugin called “WP LinkedIn Auto Publish Settings” do you see this? It looks like this: https://ps.w.org/wp-linkedin-auto-publish/assets/screenshot-5.jpg?rev=1876943

    What I am saying is you can activate/deactivate your LinkedIn profile/pages before sharing to social media by clicking on the profile/page before clicking publish.

    So to clarify again, in the plugin settings deactivate profiles you want to share with by default. But if you do want to share a post to a particular profile or page, on the metabox I mentioned in my first paragraph, activate the profile/page before sharing. Thanks,
