Not show SKU number

Hi Matteo,

The SKU and product ID tags are working for me in my testing environments… Are you able to provide more information about the situation? WP/plugin versions, kinds of products, etc.

Hi Jacob,
im using the last wordpress and WP e-Commerce Style Email version.
My product have 2 kind of variation.
I saw the wpecommerce generated 1 page for each variation and i tried to put the SKU code also in that page, but no solution found!

In my testing, I am able to use the SKU tag from my plugin for variations, but it’s a complicated area in terms of WPEC. Can you confirm that this issue occurs only with variations? In other words, do the product ID and SKU tags work correctly for your store with non-variation products?

I have no SKU showing in the emails, with no variations. the products do have Table Rate prices.

tostrye – just to rule out something simple, can you confirm that SKU’s are set for those products, and that they are being shown in the WPEC purchase log?

In my wpsc-single_product template i get correctly every SKU product like this:

<?php echo get_post_meta(wpsc_the_product_id(), ‘_wpsc_sku’, true); ?>

Are you able to get product IDs in the email template? For example using this in a product row:

tostrye – thanks for that screenshot. It doesn’t show any column header for the SKU either… Where would you expect to see the SKU?

I would like to add a column for the SKU. I am using the default theme with grid view LTE. Should I change that?

My plugin allows you to completely replace the WPEC email content. Have a try with the theme files provided in my plugin, I believe it’s a better purchase receipt than what WPEC provides. SKU column and thumbnail columns are included. Let me know what you think!

Can you show an example of some code? I don’t see how to show the SKU.
