Not showing adsense ads

Thanks for reaching out.

I visited your website and can see a mix from placed ads by Advanced Ads and Google Auto ads. All ads appeared on my end.

Please check your setting in the AdSense Auto ads options. Under “In-page formats” you’ll see a checkbox for “Optimize existing ads“. Please uncheck the option “Let Google optimize your existing ad units“.

This should prevent Google from falling back to Auto Ads and leaving your manually placed ad units empty. Which is the only reason for empty ad units I can think of at the moment.

If you could send in a link where I can see the reported behavior, I can also take a closer look as well.

Hey buddy , thanks for the help, i unchecked the box and sometimes don’t show ads at all, but maybe I should give it some time.

Also when I go from incognito tab it doesn’t show any ads or just one or two in some posts.

after I unchecked the box you said, It’s not showing ads at all and again with the blank ads, not sure if it’s from adsense or the plugin?

it should have 12 ads units, 6 placements from the plugin and 6 from auto ads in one article.

When happen to show, only 2 or 3 bit sometimes none

If you see a downfall in served ads and revenue, please feel free to activate the Google optimization again and compare your stats for the given timeframes.

Here is a screenshot of your page with no AdSense error messages showing 12 ad units. Not included are the sticky top and sidebar ads that are also showing for me.

If you have a link to a post where it shows a different behavior, I would be happy to check this one as well.

Google will always check if they have fitting adverts for the visitors they see and decide to show ads or not. This tutorial helps to identify if a AdSense placeholder is from a manually placed ads or an Auto Ad. You can also check for error messages or issues with your AdSense account. But the same way you have no control over the content of such ads, you also cannot force AdSense to show an ad also if the code is correctly implemented.

Hi there,

As mentioned, if the code is implemented correctly, where I have no reason to believe otherwise, it’s up to Google to fill the ad spaces and decide whether they have ads to show or not.

If you are interested in a workaround checking if an ad space was filled by Google or not and capable of loading a fallback ad, please feel free to try this coding example.
