not showing all posts

    I tried the search function here with the “not showing all posts,” but it spins on searching with no result. I also looked through 10+ pages for a similar topic to no avail.

    My categories page shows topics with correct post counts. For example, “catalog (85),” but the results, when clicked on, only show 25 posts. This happens in all categories with more than 25 posts.

    How can I change this, so the results page displays all the posts?

    I appreciate any help you can provide.

    What are your setting in Settings > Reading >Blog pages show at most set to?

    By default its set for 10. When set like that on my local site, it shows 10. When I set it for 9999, it shows all my sample posts. I have 36 for reference.

    Thank you, it is working correctly now, thanks to your direction.

    I custom-made the theme and had set it for 999 there, but many posts later, I forgot to set it in the WordPress Blog page count settings.
