Not showing all terms in glossary page

Hi!
Is there a way (maybe a future implementation) to NOT show ALL terms in glossary page when we load it? I mean, show only the words that begin with the letter ‘A’ instead of all words by default, for example?
On (relatively) large glossaries display all terms makes the page long and inelegant…
