    For some reason the “<a href” and the “<a ref” has changed place and the first post after the Year is not linking to the post.

    Look at the code:

    <h2><a href="https://www.eriohm.se/2007/12/31/struligt-byte/" name="year2007"></a>2007 <span style="font-weight:200;">(34)</span></h2>

    <ul>
    <li>2007-12-31 - <a rel="bookmark" title="Struligt byte">Struligt byte</a></li>
    <li>2007-12-30 - <a href="https://www.eriohm.se/2007/12/30/ny-design-2/" rel="bookmark" title="Ny design">Ny design</a></li>
    </ul>

    Other then that, the plugin is doing exactly what I was looking for. But if it’s not working I can’t use it.

    The problem seems to appear when you disable “Linked years?”.

    That looks VERY weird.

    It should be printing
    <h3><a href="https://www.eriohm.se/2012/" rel="section">2012</a> <span style="font-weight:200;">(34)</span></h3>

    instead of

    <h2><a href="https://www.eriohm.se/2007/12/31/struligt-byte/"></a>2007 <span style="font-weight:200;">(34)</span></h2>

    which, for whatever reason, is linking the Linked year with a post permalink.

    Can you try disabling all other plugins except Simple Yearly Archive and see if the plugin does work for you?

    After inactivate a plugin called Target Blank in Posts and Comments your plugin works just fine.

    To bad since I love both plugins, but the other one is really old and maybe there is a better one that don’t messes up your plugin.

    Tried the newer plugin WP Links, same problem.

    Well, as much as I can see from the plugin’s code, they don’t seem to except links having a rel attribute already. That’s why they break the links from the arhive.

    I see. Well thanks for your help.

    This plugin doesn’t seem to be supported anymore.

    My plugin shouldn’t be breaking your links. I assume its “Target Blank in Posts and Comments”

    I should be able to preserve the HREF attributes in a link, let me work on getting an update out soon.

    I just updated the plugin, try 1.1
