Not showing in archive sidebar widget

    Hi – I use CRP as a widget on my sidebar only – works great everywhere i use it except on archive (category) pages.. where it is not shown at all.

    If i enable archives in the general settings it shows at the bottom of each post on the archive page.. is there a way to show only in the sidebar?

    Unfortunately not as the archives page isn’t a page with a unique post ID so there isn’t anything related to it as a result that the plugin can use to generate the posts.

    Ah, ok thanks.

    Would it be possible in a future release to perhaps give an option to just display the most recent blog posts on any archive page?

    Might not be recent posts, as you already have a WordPress widget for that. But I need to see how I can get a “related” set of posts based on the context of the page.
    e.g. if it is a tag or category page then display a random set of posts from a related tag/category and so on. I’ll add this on a list of things to do.

    That would be great! .. will help with maintaining a consistent layout and format on those pages.
