Not showing in Home page

  • Hi guys,

    thanks for the good work and the amazing effort on this plugin, it’s my favourite one but I have a problem. I am using it in two of my WP sites and it’s working perfectly in all the entries and pages but not in the home page/blog, it’s not showing any floating social icons there as it’s doing in the rest of the pages of the site.

    I did a research in the forums and I couldn’t find anything relative to this.

    Any help here?

  • I have this same problem. My floating sidebar was working fine until I updated the plugin, and now it has disappeared from my home page (still working fine on all other pages).

    Any ideas?

    Further to my previous post, I’ve just updated the plugin on another site, and there the floating sidebar still works fine after the update, incl. on the home page. So this issue may not be related to the update, as I previously suspected.

    Hey @santyjazz and @robaa,

    Thank you for reaching out with this message. The homepage issue may be related to how you have WordPress set up.

    If the homepage is set as the dynamic latest posts page, the floating sidebar will not work. If the homepage is a static page, the button should appear properly.

    This is a limitation of the plugin unfortunately, for which I’m not sure I can provide a solution for the foreseeable future.

    Please let me know if your homepages are set as a static page, yet the buttons don’t show up.

    In my case the front page is static. Also, the sidebar was working fine until recently, when it suddenly disappeared for no obvious reason.
