Not showing new content

  • Hi,

    Just started using this about a week ago and thought it was great.

    Then today I add a sidebar widget and it doesn’t show no matter what I do. So I go in and check/refresh the database. I even changed the theme on the site, but the theme would not change.

    So I go through and look to see what plugins were recently updated. But as I was looking, I saw WP Fastest Cache and tried disabling it. Then my site behaved normally.

    So why would new widgets or even a theme change not update the cache?

    I was rebooting my server and everything.

    No need to reboot. When you update theme or widget, just you need to clear the cache manually. You ask why WPFC does not clear automatically ?? because maybe you try something about style. If the cache is cleared automatically, the users may see the broken style.
