Hmm .. I read the other support issues, and it looks like after I replaced the city with the corresponding number, it showed back up.

I’ll monitor it to make sure it stays.

That will help, however I have noticed a lot of errors with OpenWeatherMap over the past few weeks. I’m currently trying to figure out the best next steps to keep this working.

You’re right, it does seem like others are having issues with them as well.

I’ll keep my eyes peeled for updates. I love this plugin ?? So simple.

Hi, I am also using your weather widget. Unfortunately the last few days the widget is not showing or showing incorrect data. Also the forecast doesn’t work all the time.

Is this a continuous problem or only a minor hickup from OpenWeatherMap? I really like your plugin but I can’t work with it as it is right now.

Plugin is pretty sweet btw! I am using the location Sankt Margarethen im Lungau, AT

This is most likely OpenWeatherMap. Many reports of wacky weather have been coming in. I am looking into an alternative source in the free version as well. The technic of getting the City ID from OpenWeatherMap has helped for some people: https://halgatewood.com/docs/plugins/awesome-weather-widget/finding-city-id

Ruurd, have you tried the fix I explained above? It is also outlined a little more clear in the other support post of a similar type.

It worked just fine for me. Haven’t had a problem since.

Hij Hal and Web guy, I will look into both issues. Thanks for The really fast reply. Thanks and with kind regards, Ruurd

That fix worked for me, as well. Much appreciated!

City ID seems to have worked for me as well. Thank you!

Hey Hal! I love this simple, clean, weather widget solution!

It worked great for a couple days, but now isn’t showing up. Well, the title of the widget shows up, but the weather info doesn’t.

I’d be more than happy to purchase the pro version, but I want to make sure that the pro version works before I purchase.

    Please advise.

    Thanks ahead of time!

    Mike

I did get it working by adding the city’s id as explained above.

    Thanks!

This should be a sticky post, I think ??

I just release a new version (1.5) that uses the Location to search for the City ID through the widget settings. This should help with a lot of problem!
