Not showing up after installation

  • Thougt your plugin could fixa couple of small problems Ive been having with my columns of my first page since Im using the Sparkling theme from Colorlib who recommends using this plugin since it is a bootstrap theme.

    But after I installed it a set the setting the way colorlib suggests (also tried all other ways) the buttons doesnt show up in the editor.

    Im using wp 4.2.2 and the latest sparkling theme with a child theme.
    Im currently using fruitful shortcodes but even when disabling that, your plugin doesnt show up.

    Thought on that? Thanks.

    Hi Ninino,

    Can you please confirm, which editor you are using? This plugin will add Shortcodes Icons to TinyMCE editor. If you are using TinyMCE editor, then you have to check the second row of the editor.

    How do I confirm that?

    Isnt TinyMCE the standard editor for wordpress?

    Yes it is. Can you please check the second icon row in editor?.

    Same problem here. I am using sparkling (bootstrap theme). Confirmed the editor is TinyMCE. The buttons do not appear. There is no second row in the editor. A few other plugins have shortcode buttons that show up (in the first row), not this one. Any advice? The plugin is activated & up to date.

    I resolved my issue. Not sure if it was a recent WordPress update that changed something or I simply hadn’t ever noticed the “Toolbar Toggle” icon that collapsed all the extra toolbars & buttons for the editor. It was at the end of the first row of buttons, no second row.
    Everything’s up and running now. Thanks!
