• Once I upgraded to 4.2.2, the two dropdowns for using Shortcodes and Font Icons have disappeared from my New Post toolbar. I’ve uninstalled, reinstalled, and still no go. I have not changed my theme (Customizr) or added any additional plugins between WP upgrades, but maybe something began conflicting with a plugin upgrade? Is there a known list of conflicts?

I know the shortcodes are still working as if I paste them in manually from earlier posts which used them they look fine–but I miss this functionality. If it’s been removed, is there a place where I can find all the shortcode options so I can use it manually?

    Thank you!

Sorry for the very late reply but we were not getting notifications for this. The Shortcodes button does appear in our WordPress 4.4 current installation, can you confirm this was fixed in 4.4?

I’m all up to date for WP and my plugins, still not seeing the dropdowns on either new or existing posts.

(The shortcodes are still working manually.)

Can you take a screenshot of the post editor interface?

It stopped working for me last week following a PHP upgrade. I upgraded to WordPress 4.5 this morning and it is working again.

Upgraded to 4.5 as well…still seeing this for my Post toolbar. (Included link to screenshot.)

@themusei: maybe some other plugin is conflicting, could you provide a list of plugins you have active. Could you try temporarily disabling some of them, like the page builder?
