not so great

I wanted to use it instead of the built-in WordPress player because it offers ability to control auto-start volume level. I found that:
1. mute does not work
2. autostart volume level does not work, sound level is the same regardless of what value is used
3. when volume slider is at 0 position sound is still audible.

I recommend sticking with the bundled WordPress audio player.
