Not sorting numerically correctly

    When sorting a column I dont think it is sorting numerically.

    For instance if sorting by descending it will sort

    99
    98
    58
    57
    23
    198
    156
    100
    etc..

    Here is a link to where I’ sorting a column.

    The total pts column works but the others dont. Is it because there is a – in some of the columns? Should that be replaced with a 0.

    Yep, that is why. Cant have the “-” in there.

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    You are correct, the plain - will turn the column values into “text” and no longer “numbers”. And text is simply sorted differently.
    I suggest to remove all those - to get the proper numeric sorting.
