Not Subscribed – Still Receiving a Deluge of Emails

  • I have unsubscribed to all threads on the forums and I’m receiving a continuous flood of emails (dozens every day). I’ve gone to the Plugin forum in question, tried clicking on the ‘unsubscribe’ link and nothing happens.

    Hi,
    did you check under “Edit forum profile” if you enabled the option to recieve notifications from all the posts you join?
    (you can even check all the posts you subscribed)

    Thanks, @thewebcorsair it was a good idea. Sadly, that too is unchecked, so it shouldn’t be a problem.

    Do you have another account? You could be subscribed on a different email address and are having those emails forwarded to you.

    Look at the headers for the emails, check where they were originally sent to, and see if that email address has a different account here, with a subscription to that forum.

    @mrlich Like I said, look at the headers, you probably have another account being forwarded to you.
