    Hello Developers,
    I recently developed an android webview app, but does not know why this plugin is not working into the webview app. But plugin is working when I open website in mobile browser like chrome, edge etc. But the share button is being invisible after showing few micro seconds in webview app. I’m using webChromeclient in my webview app. Please help me

    Hi Atanu,

    Good day to you and thanks a lot for trying out Super Web Share. I checked upon Chrome browser and as you have mentioned it’s working perfectly over your website.

    If you are noticing the share button for some micro seconds, that means the webview you are using is not supported to show the native share prompt (Web Share API support).

    WebView browsers mostly have some API’s disabled by default and most of them are even outdated, as they all get updated to the latest version only via by the OS updates provided by the device providers.

    Hopefully, we need to wait for the update to be shipped and WebView to get supported by the WebView.

    Thanks a lot to mention the problem. Yes you are right, this is happening for outdated API. Anyway this topic can be closed here. Thanks again.
