Not sure if Payments are Going Through

    Hi, I downloaded your plugin a few days ago and have set up my product and Paypal buy now button. I have spent a certain amount of money on advertising so far and still nobody has bought yet even when the price was reduced to under a dollar as a test. I have had over 10,000 people see the under a dollar price tag and still no purchases. Although possible it could be that nobody has purchased, I suspect the payment processor is failing and I’m not sure why. Is there anyway to test this without family members or friends (or Paypal Sandbox)?

    Hi,

    If you want check it with the PayPal Sandbox, follow the steps below:

    1. Open the sd-submit.php file, located in “/wp-content/plugins/sell-downloads/sd-core/sd-submit.php”, with the text editor your choice.

    2. Go to the snippet of code:

    https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr

    and modify it like follow:

    https://www.sandbox.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr

    Note: Remember after testing the store, restore the original URL in the form’s action.

    Please, check that the IPN is enabled in your PayPal account, if the IPN is disabled, your website is not notified after the customers purchase your products.
