The plugin works just fine; however, if you don’t have the premium version then there is no actual “auto-post” or “scheduling.” Everything has to be done manually which can be a pain and time-consuming. Granted, it’s less time-consuming than posting on individual social media pages but only just marginally.

I also checked out the price for premium services recently. It’s a major price gouge. Nearly $85 USD a year. I paid that much for my website hosting for 3 YEARS! In other words, Blog2Social is telling me that its services are worth more than my hosting site’s services. That’s a pretty big claim and one that I don’t think is true. At least not going off of the free version as it’s rather limiting.

I also wanted to point out that competing plugins offer a similar premium service at half the price with seemingly MORE website connections available in their free version.

Another thing that I’m really not a fan of is the constant barrage of the plugin asking you to rate it. That and it’s rather entitled language about how it deserves a 5-star rating. It’s almost as annoying as the fact that the plugin advertises its premium services everywhere I look, including when I’m writing a post and it shows me everything I CAN’T do with the free version. Thanks, developers. I love looking at that.

Hi, @fieryartemispublications and thank you for taking the time for your detailed feedback!

First, it’s great to hear that you like the technical performance of Blog2Social.

Currently, the free version of Blog2Social is primarily focused on blogging beginners and hobby bloggers who manage individual social media accounts and want to cross-promote their articles across the various networks.

Accordingly, the functions of the free version are developed for this purpose: You can use it to connect the networks

    ? Facebook,
    ? Google,
    ? Twitter,
    ? LinkedIn,
    ? XING,
    ? Medium,
    ? Pinterest,
    ? Instagram,
    ? Flickr,
    ? Torial,
    ? Reddit,
? and Bloglovin and cross-promote your content to these networks.

You can also use the free version to customize your social media posts, thus perfectly adapt them to the individual networks, and target groups.
You can customize your posts to Medium, Tumblr, and Torial even more detailed with the included HTML editor and make your comments more individual and engaging.
In addition, you can set the OG parameters for Facebook and Twitter as well, and share previously shared posts again with individually set images.

The premium versions are for established and seasoned bloggers, professional bloggers, influencers, small and medium-sized businesses, agencies that manage different clients, content and social media managers, corporate blogs, and large companies.
Many of the functions available in the premium versions can only be found in Blog2Social and are available for one of the most competitive prices to date.

Thank you as well for your detailed feedback on the Blog2Social dashboard and overall display.

We have recently released an Inter-Face update and greatly reduced the rating as well as upgrade calls to make Blog2Social as transparent as possible.
With the new Inter-Face, each user can see what features are available in each specific version without any paywalls or annoying pop-ups.
Nonetheless, we have forwarded your suggestions to further reduce the rating and upgrade calls to our product management and we are looking into whether and how we can implement them differently.

Thank you again and have a happy new year!
