NOT THERE

  • As someone who started working with WP a decade ago and has created a few themes of my own, I decided to try this. Six HOURS later I still cannot create a homepage because this stupid program will not let you create a page and then make it a home page. A few minutes to be up and running, yeah if you use everything that is theirs. Stay away if you want to do any customizing.

    Sorry to hear you’ve run into trouble with the Vantage – Page Builder by SiteOrigin home page integration.

    If you go to Appearance > Home Page, set the toggle to OFF and don’t edit the home page in that location again, all will work as expected. Simply head over to Settings > Reading and assign a home page as you normally would. The problem arises if you edit Appearance > Home Page while the toggle is in the OFF position. That’ll deselect your static home page, returning your home to a blog home.
