Not translating custom posts

  • Hello,

    I would like to not translate custom posts while still translating the remainder of the page.

    I can do this by simply using pll_current_language to set things on a given page (eg: header) while the custom post remains untranslated.

    However, doing this leaves me without a separate permalink. So I have two pages (for two different languages) on the same permalink, which is bad for SEO.

    I can only create a separate permalink if I translate the custom posts; however, this seems wasteful as I will just be inserting the same exact post title and post content for its translations.

    How can I create a separate permalink for a translation of a page without translating the post?
