• I am using the code on a page
    [Youtube_Channel_Gallery feed=”playlist” user=”PLScC8g4bqD47c-qHlsfhGH3j6Bg7jzFy-” videowidth=”580″ ratio=”16×9″ theme=”light” color=”white” autoplay=”0″ rel=”0″ showinfo=”0″ maxitems=”20″ thumbwidth=”277″ thumbratio=”16×9″ thumbcolumns=”2″ title=”1″ description=”0″ thumbnail_alignment=”top” descriptionwordsnumber=”6″ link=”0″]
    and the first video has been Jennifer Lopez for three days. The page never changes.

    But if I use the same playlist “PLScC8g4bqD47c-qHlsfhGH3j6Bg7jzFy-” in the widget I can see the new video with Benedict Cumberbatch uploaded to Youtube yesterday on top (and Jennifer Lopez is second, which is correct).

    How to make it update using the code in pages, in other words disable that caching for good?

  • Hey Paravia,

    Don’t know if this will solve your problem, but I was having the same issue and this thread helped me. Check out the very last post in it: [link]

    I’ll have to wait and see if my gallery updates when the playlist does, but it did update to the latest video when I added the mentioned attributes to the short code. So, we’ll see.

    I’m not the developer or anything but it look like you need to tell the plugin how to order the videos. Add this:

    feedorder="desc"

    Add that to have it list the latest video added at the top. Hope this helps.

    Also, enabling a cache time to refresh the feed might help — though, I hope someone comes through this thread and gives a suggestion on a good refresh interval. The number indicates the hours, so I use 1 hour.

    cache_time="1"

    I had to come back and edit this because I made a mistake.
