Not Updating after SSL Install

Hi,
Whilst this plugin has worked wonderfully on our site for the past two years or so, the feed had stopped updating ever since we had SSL installed last month. The plugin is in the footer area of our site: https://www.aristoteliansociety.org.uk/
I’ve already tried deactivating and reactivating the plugin; I’ve also tried deleting it altogether and installing a fresh version. Before all that I tried ‘clearing the locks,’ which returned a message saying there were no locks to clear. I even tried revoking access at Twitter.com and then reauthorizing in the widget’s settings. Nothing, thus far, has worked.
I’ve contacted my hosts about this and they were wondering if maybe this widget doesn’t work with https sites? Seems dubious to me that that would be the case …
And as far as usage for both lists and statuses is concerned, it says in the settings that there are 0 used and 180 remaining.
Any help that the plugin authors or anyone else can provide would be greatly appreciated. This is one of our favourite plugins and we’d hate to start looking elsewhere!
