Not updating character limit (max char length)

I hope you are doing good today.

I checked on my lab site with simple input, textarea, and number fields and I can change limits without any issues. Do you see any kind of errors in the browser console when you try to edit your field limit?

Also, would you please run a conflict test? Please deactivate all plugins except Forminator and check if the problem is gone. If so, then enable all plugins one by one and find which one is having a conflict. If there is no positive result, switch to a default WordPress theme like 2019 and see if it works.

Before this test, we recommend full site backup.

If the above test will not give positive results, please export your form, upload it to google drive or dropbox, and share a link in your next reply so that we could take a closer look at this. Also mention the field name which has this issue.

Thanks for your quick reply. Unfortunately i disabled all plugins, changed the theme and the problem persists. I dont see any errors in the console. Is i type through my textarea the character count remains 0.

Hi, I have the same issue after updated to the latest version. Downgrade to Version 1.15.12 works for me.

I’m sorry about this issue. I’ve checked and it looks like this is a bug and our developers are working on fixing it.

Fix for this bug will be added to the 1.16.0 version of the Forminator. Please make sure to update the plugin when the update will be available.
