Not useable for social media

  • We ran into a huge issue when Facebook/Instagram attached its own tracking code in the url. This breaks the plugin!

    Specifically, FBCLIDs (Facebook Click Identifiers) are silently added to all posted web addresses. So mydomain.com/redirecturl becomes mydomain.com/redirecturl?fbclid=sfOLdosdfolDsdox and this plugin doesn’t seem to expect this. Instead, this generates a 404 PAGE NOT FOUND error! I suspect this would go for any variables appended to the URL.

    Hopefully the developer corrects this issue at some point.
