not using entries in sitemap xml file

    hello,

    I only want the sitemap as an entry point, but the pages in the sitemap do not get called ord warmed up … after triggering the warm up, this is what I get as response: https://imgur.com/5Qts2Qk

    Any idea on what I need to configure? The sitemap is created by rankmath.

    ok, I just found out, the plugin tries to find the entry in the robots.txt file for the sitemap and otherwise tries to use sitemap.xml – which might be a general default but not if you are using a seo plugin … then it is usually sitemap_index.xml

    Thank you for the bug report. I will investigate this when I get a chance.

    I think you can also specify an entry point as your sitemap, and set the depth to something like 3 (because pretty often sitemaps have several levels).

    @ebiebzh0 I fixed the sitemap in 1.1.8. If you update the plugin, they should be good.
